• Putting the rock into Fuji Rock – more bands announced!

    Japanese bands Man With A Mission, Wanima, and Ken Yokohama have been announced today, along with London-based  Bo Ningen, adding to what is looking to be a weekend that puts the “rock” in Fuji Rock.

    Rap rockers Man With A Mission played at killer set at Fuji Rock in 2014 just after releasing their “Tales of Purefly” album, so this year’s appearance will no doubt take in old favourites as well as much of new album “The World’s on Fire”.

    Face-melting” noise rockers Bo Ningen will be testing your mettle (or should that be “metal?) with their own idiosyncratic sound, while punk legend Ken Yokoyama (of Hi-Standard for those of you not paying attention at the back” makes another appearance at this year’s fest and brings with him Pizza of Death label-mates Wanima, a young band whose hi-energy punk will be causing plenty of bouncing.  Check them out below:

    And of special note in today’s line-up announcement is the band “Jump With Joey”, an LA-based 90s ska-band who will be reforming to celebrate this year’s anniversary.  Keep you eyes peeled for more news about them in coming posts!
